My 101 List

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple goals such as New Year’s resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

  1. Good luck with your list! You set a much more reasonable goal with freerice.com — we set 1,000,000 as a goal, and I don’t think we’ll ever catch up, ’cause we’re too far behind! LOL!

  2. This is one of the coolest ideas I’ve seen in awhile. What a great way to do an “About” section, cause it definitely gives your readers a good idea about the things that are important to you and make you…you!

YAY! I just posted my 101 post the other day! Good luck to you missy! Looks like we got a couple things in common. You have to let me know when you plant a tree, volunteer with HFH and fly a kite =)

  4. Wow, I love some of the things on your list, gave me a few ideas of things I want to do just because even if they are not on my list, such as donating the rice. I have done it before but I never really keep up with it.

I also would love to beable to cook a 6 course meal, and even take a ballroom dance class just once.

Good luck on your list :)
